The Royal Palace of Amsterdam was built between 1648 and 1665 as a town hall, designed by architect Jacob van Campen, and inaugurated on July 29, 1655. The building is considered the most important historical and cultural monument of the Dutch Golden Age.

We design ourselves

All models are designed by ourselves and then printed in our 3D printing studio. This way we can switch quickly, make small series and still remain creative. Moreover, within the manufacturing industry we are purely Dutch in this way and we do not have to have anything produced abroad.

[fusion_dropcap class="fusion-content-tb-dropcap"]V[/fusion_dropcap]oor de vervanging van het bouwvallig geworden gotische stadhuis waren verschillende ontwerpen ingediend. De Vrede van Münster in 1648 bracht zo’n euforie met zich mee dat het meest ambitieuze plan werd uitgevoerd. Dit was in het midden van wat later de Gouden Eeuw werd genoemd. Het stadhuis werd gebouwd op een schaal die in Europa nog niet eerder was vertoond. Het werd het grootste niet-religieuze gebouw van de oude wereld. Het gebouw kan daarmee gezien worden als een belangrijk symbool van het vrijzinnige Amsterdam. Het “achtste wereldwonder” werd de parel in de kroon van Amsterdam. Het gebouw moest de rijkdom en het aanzien van de stad Amsterdam weerspiegelen. De bouw kostte 8,5 miljoen gulden, een gigantisch bedrag in die tijd. Het paleis is in gebruik door het Koninklijk Huis en een landmark voor de stad Amsterdam.
